ingredients
- 1 kg beef, cut into pieces and boil until tender, set aside
- 3 stalks of celery, take the leaves, slice
- 300 gr Sprouts
- Chilli sauce
- Boiled eggs
Soto Sauce Seasoning:
- 2 hazelnuts
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Seasoning:
- 2 liters of water (500 ml from the rest of the beef stew)
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 lemongrass stalks, bruised
- 1 segment of galangal, bruised
- 1/2 segment of ginger, crushed
- 10 gr beef broth
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 garlics (sliced and fried)
- 2 red onions (sliced and fried)
How to make soto
- Puree all the spices, set aside
- Then boil the water then add the ground spices, add the ginger, bay leaf, galangal and lemongrass, saute until the smell is fragrant
- After that, add 500 ml of boiled meat, wait until it boils
- After boiling, add the beef, then add the scallions, broth powder, pepper and salt
- Taste test, wait until it boils
- After boiling, add fried garlic and red, stir then turn off the stove, set aside
How to present:
- Take a plate, add rice, and flush with soto sauce
- Then add celery, sprouts, hard-boiled eggs, chili sauce, and stir and enjoy (if you want more complete you can add fried peanuts)
