A father’s fears for his children’s safety have been stoked by a photo posted to Facebook of him being pulled over for speeding in Florida.
The photo shows the father of four, who had just driven from Florida to Philadelphia, stopped at a red light near his home on Friday morning.
The officer was seen with his hands up and gesturing toward the driver of the vehicle, who was sitting in the passenger seat, according to a police report obtained by ABC News.
The officer is seen on the video asking the driver to stop, to which the driver responds, “I’m going to kill you.”
The officer asks the driver if he was going faster than 45 miles per hour, to no avail.
The man tells the officer to pull over.
He drives off and then returns moments later to find his daughter asleep on the side of the road, police said in a police statement.
The father tells police that he was “shocked” and “embarrassed” to be pulled over.
The woman he was with was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
